Why 2013 Was the Best Year Ever

Why 2013 Was the Best Year Ever
31 Dec 2013
2013 was the BEST YEAR EVER for me. It was the year I stopped caring what everyone else thought about what I wanted to do. It was the year I gave myself permission to be, well…me—in all of my FABULOUS IMPERFECTION. And it was the year I dusted off all those plans I had put on the backburner for a minute and started bringing them into reality.

I redefined my definition of "success" when it finally CLICKED that it had less to do with what you have externally, and more to do with discovering the treasure you hold internally. When you learn how to tap into that internal "thing" that makes all things possible, that's it—you're UNSTOPPABLE.

That "thing" is the Divine that lives within each and every one of us. I knew it was there before, but what had happened was…I forgot. Because I got caught up in other people's foolishness and my own doubts. But God has a way of steering us back onto the path that He needs us to walk so that we can light the way for others.

So now, 2014 is going to be the BEST YEAR EVER. Because I said so.

And I wish the the same for you. May 2014 bring you: more BLESSINGS than you can stand; a clearer understanding of God's PURPOSE for your life; and the will, the joy, the commitment, the strength and courage to follow your PASSION until you have exceeded every single expectation you have ever had for yourself. Stay BOLD & FEARLESS.

With love,
Julian

  1. Yes! Success is a journey, not a destination!  That's one of my favorite quotes. Therefore, we can't define success how society does. As long as we're walking out our purpose and trusting in God, he will bring joy & prosperity into our lives at some point in time:) In teh meantime, enjoy every moment of the journey!

  2. Lady Julian,

Let your light shine before men. Never allow them to stop you from being who you are from within. You're the most incredible and amazing creature in the universe with a voice to be heard. Without your life existence being shaped and molded by the divine nature of the most Holy One in Creation, No one would recognize yourself as being what you have been so divinely choosen to be. That's a gift to others for others to see what God wanted you to be…

Thank you for those inspiring words. And indeed it's a great reminder that we have to consciously choose everyday to let our light shine. Wishing you a blessed 2014!
